Peak Medical Centers is pleased to announce the creation of the Angela Picchierri Sudol Memorial Scholarship Foundation.
Angela Picchierri Sudol devoted her life to helping students in her role as a teacher and, later, an administrator in Garfield, New Jersey. The sister of Dr. Marc Picchierri and aunt to Dr. Brandon Picchierri, Angela left a lasting impression on students, colleagues, and everyone who crossed her path. The scholarship and foundation began in 2019, shortly after Angela passed away.
Each spring, the Angela Picchierri Sudol Memorial Scholarship Foundation will award $1,000 each to deserving high school seniors to help ease the financial strains of higher education.
The scholarship team is looking for students interested in pursuing the challenges and rewards of a teaching career, like the one Angela chose. Candidates are expected to excel in academics, athletics, or extra-curricular activities.
Recipients of the Angela Picchierri Sudol Memorial Scholarship hail from all over Bergen County and Passaic County in New Jersey, including Saddle Brook, Hackensack, Pascack Valley, Rutherford, Northern Valley, Passaic Valley, East Side (Paterson), Teaneck, and Garfield.
